1 Corinthians 15:3-4 NLT

I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said.

Encouragement for the Journey- Resurrection Sunday

Over 2000 years ago, Abba sent Jesus to walk this earth because I needed a Savior. That is a reality we all need to reflect on. When He began the ministry that God had given Him, it was to set the captive free, to reveal who He is, and to offer Himself as a sacrifice. He did this knowing that death would come- knowing He would endure undeserved suffering… more than any other man would ever face. He would be crucified on a cross, yet He also knew that I, that we, would need Him to endure, because we need a Savior. And He knew He would rise and be victorious, fulfilling the will of His Father, all because of love. We need this Savior, and we need this love.

Today we celebrate the One who came to set us free—the Messiah. We celebrate the living Word of God, the spotless Lamb of God, and we rejoice that He rose after being ridiculed, crucified, and buried.

Before He was laid in the tomb, He was beaten and bruised—spat on, mocked, dishonored, and disrespected. Though He had done nothing wrong and no violence was in Him, He chose to bear the shame, sickness, and disease of us all.

Praise God that He endured it all. He did this for me, for you—for us. He came, He died for us, and He rose again. He did all this for us—and He didn’t stop there. His love didn’t stop at the ministry He had while walking on earth. His love didn’t stop when he was crucified on the cross. His love didn’t stop when he was buried in a tomb. He rose, and His love still flows, because He is alive!

We don’t have a dead religion. Jesus is alive!

For the atonement of our sins, for being the Light of the World, we thank Jesus!

For His sacrifice, His words, His commands, His love, His Blood, and His Name… We thank Jesus!

For enduring the slander, the beatings, and the cross. For conquering death, Hell, and the graves, we thank this, Jesus!

For giving us direct access to the living God who is seated on the throne beconing us to come to Him and opening the way for us to receive Holy Spirit… because of this great love, we thank Jesus!

There are extras of bunnies, eggs, candy, and festivities that we say are in the name of sharing Jesus. But in truth, these things often become distractions. We don’t need to promote events as an “inviting gathering” or rely on activities to bring people into the church. The apostles simply preached the gospel, and thousands came. They just preached the Name and the Word of Jesus, and they came to Him.

Let us share this gospel today! Today, we only celebrate Yeshua- our Rescuer, our Savior, our Deliverer, and only proclaim His Name. Let them come to Jesus- not by way of eggs, bunnies, or theatrics. Come to Jesus by way of the cross! Come to the Father by way of Jesus! The gospel is enough, and the truth of His love that poured out on Calvary’s cross didn’t stop there. He rose, and we celebrate today- Resurrection Sunday.

Hallelujah! Jesus is alive! We praise Yeshua Hamashiach- Jesus the Messiah!

May we all proclaim today– Hosanna to the Son of David! Save us now, King of kings! You are the Messiah, the Risen One! You are Yeshua! All praise be to our risen Lord and King!

We cannot forget. And He’s not done! Our Messiah is coming back!!

He’s coming back soon. People get ready, Jesus is coming!

I pray that every church that bears the Name and claims the Name of Jesus Christ shares the pure, unadulterated truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ that is filled with love and sets people free!

I pray that those who have lost their way come back to God today.

I pray that those who have not known Him receive Him today.

I pray those of us who follow Jesus have the Word of the Lord alive in us and in our mouths. I pray Holy Spirit moves in us and guides us. Be alive in us! Be alive in me!

Happy Resurrection Sunday!!

Promises for the Journey

Revelation 1:4-8 NKJV

John, to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
