Reflections  on the Journey

I wrote this entire journal entry on December 23, 2023, pertaining to the previous week.

Day 6 of chemo, day 16 in the hospital- how this day played out still amazes me. This was the day we were to start preparing to leave the hospital. He was having no symptoms, no side effects, no issues from chemotherapy or the meds at all, and was supposed to come off medication. Doctors and nurses were all surprised by how well he was doing.

Then this day stuff started happening following a dream I had, and it became a warfare ALL DAY type of day. Every day in the hospital, I sent an update text to the church leaders and a few who were standing in faithful prayer with us, so these are the texts from that day.

**Lots of texts were happening, but to keep it from being too lengthy I’m skipping some and condensed.

8:51am Text from me: 

Good morning all. Dream this morning:

We were in the hospital- room had 6-7 babies in it in infant beds with doctors. 1 was mine. They were hooked up to wires, machines, and other things. Originally, I thought Kayden, but when I realized it was babies, I wasn’t sure. 

We were about to get released from the hospital, but the Dr said he had a cough. He said he knew he would start to develop a “tubog” cough a couple of days ago, but now he has. It was weird. It was like they knew he was not going to be released- like they planned it. I wondered how they knew he was going to get this before he got it. 

Instantly, I felt they made him sick on purpose.

I woke up.

We woke up a bit ago to a nurse taking his temp. She said he had a slight fever. But she took it on the side he was laying on. He was sleeping so he was warm. The dream came back to me then. She’ll be back soon to recheck it. 

***Fever would keep us in the hospital- they don’t send home if there’s a fever in case of infection. This would have changed everything.

Praying! No hindrances to leaving. No delay, no setups, none of that. And no staff that will try make him sick. 

9:01am Text from me:

She just came back in. His temp is normal. I prayed and laid hands on Kayden. Canceling all things. 

Interpretation of the dream from a leader:

Babies are things to be VERY protective about. The baby represents Kayden. Cause if anyone is protecting him, I know you are Sis Krystal lol. But the tubing refers to the treatments to him as well. The infection is just a ploy the devil wants to use so we’ll cancel that. 

10:15am Text from me:

So… apparently Kayden was supposed to be given a “central line bath” EVERYDAY to prevent infections. 

**Side note- not an actual bath. It’s a way to keep the PICC line clean bc the line goes straight to the heart. 

No one has done this. The nurse today (our original that we love- sweet and a believer) is here and she said it should have been given everyday to protect his PICC line he got last Friday from causing infection. She found it interesting that it hasn’t been done and immediately said ok I’m starting today. 

They missed something big and the Lord revealed!!🙌🏾🙌🏾

See this is why we can’t just rely on man. The Lord knows and reveals. If we don’t trust Him… we’re stuck with man’s knowledge and man’s motives. That’s a bad place to be….

Praying against infection.

12:11pm Text from me:

Today (Wednesday) has been interesting and a lot of activity— it’s only noon!

So… The doctor we don’t prefer came in (the 1st one we saw that threatened DHS). Kayden coughed when she got close- 1st time. He’s had no issues but all of a sudden he coughs😳

However, it didn’t phase her. It’s like she didn’t hear/ see it. She literally kept talking like she didn’t hear it… It was so weird. But when I looked at Kayden I felt in my spirit- it’s her, don’t trust her- confirmation bc I already didn’t. In the dream it was a cough the Dr was talking about. 

Anyway, she begins talking and says she put him on a fluid Monday to help with chemo but they changed it back last night bc of his blood test. But she didn’t explain, kept talking like no big deal but that didn’t feel right. I looked at her and said- what happened? She literally starts stuttering and said she had him on a drip that had extra everything in it like his body was deficient and needed help- his enzymes started changing in a bad way, and glucose shot up to 276. Y’all that’s extremely high- 276 is diabetes range, normal is 70-110. She wasn’t even going to say anything 😡It’s the Lord that he didn’t have a reaction last night. They changed it before I went to prayer last night but I didn’t know why- assumed it was bc he was doing well. Within 8 hrs the glu. went back down to 126. 

She shouldn’t have changed anything. His treatment plan was already set by the other doctor. She had no reason to change anything. The original plan was to have him off everything today. Her change almost shut all that down. 

So now- they’re putting him on a vitamin. He no longer needs any preventative medicines or IV drip but they’re keeping him on the slow drip of normal saline today to flush out what she put in him!

He does not need a blood transfusion- he’s in normal range 🙌🏾

But she offered it like he needs it. I said no, there’s no need- he’s in normal range 🙄

Listen… this doctor… her intentions are clearly seen by the Spirit.

Canceling all of her future plans- she needs to not change his treatment. The enemy needs to back off and she needs to go away.

-Ughhhhh!!! We cancel whatever assignment she (the enemy) is on. Kayden will go home just fine! Mannn we need Jesus in this life!

-Chaaai this doctor has started again 😂😂😂. Again, Sis Krystal’s dream 😅. Yeah it’s a no!!!!

-Praying for her salvation and that whatever is influencing her to back down. 👀

This day right here…  I say all the time, I love when the Lord warns. We must be alert and awake to hear from Him clearly. Whether He warns through dreams, visions, His people, etc. I take the warning and pray. I don’t panic or get discouraged. I pray. This is why being led by Holy Spirit is so important. Discernment is needed because we can’t always see in the natural the intent of someone’s heart. His wisdom and His warnings are needed so we can come against the enemy’s tactics and cancel his plans in the spirit. 

Four different times alone that day, the enemy tried. But God! Kayden was discharged that day as planned!! Abba loves His son so much that He warned and He revealed. The enemy tried, but he did not succeed. I cannot do this without Abba. He is my help. I pray and praise with my eyes on Jesus.

My prayer: Father, increase our discernment. Increase our willingness to let go of self and remove distractions. We need you, Abba, and we need your Holy Spirit more than anything else in life because You know all and see all. Enlighten the eyes of our hearts so we can see and respond. No matter the area of life or circumstance, let us thank You for the warnings, not ignore them, and let us respond.
